Your store is set up for New Caledonia
When you choose New Caledonia at sign-up, Omniterra sets your currency to XPF, your time zone to Pacific/Noumea and your storefront language to French. Everything can be changed later.
Taxes
11% standard tax is preset, and prices include tax, as shoppers in New Caledonia expect. You can change the rate and the tax display at any time.
Payments
Card and wallet payments are the norm in New Caledonia, so cash on delivery is off by default. You can still turn it on, with fees, limits and fraud scoring, if your customers ask for it.
Card payments work through your own Stripe or PayPal account where they are available, with card fields, Apple Pay and Google Pay directly in your checkout. Bank transfer is built in, and there is no commission from us on any sale.
