Your store is set up for the Philippines
When you choose the Philippines at sign-up, Omniterra sets your currency to PHP, your time zone to Asia/Manila. Everything can be changed later.
Taxes
12% standard tax is preset, and prices include tax, as shoppers in the Philippines expect. You can change the rate and the tax display at any time.
Payments
Cash on delivery is a common way to pay in the Philippines, so it is switched on by default — with optional COD fees, order limits, regions where it is not offered, a “Refused on delivery” status and COD Guard, which scores every COD order for risk.
Card payments work through your own Stripe or PayPal account where they are available, with card fields, Apple Pay and Google Pay directly in your checkout. Bank transfer is built in, and there is no commission from us on any sale.
Shipping and couriers
Couriers commonly used in the Philippines are ready in your admin — DHL Express, UPS, FedEx, DPD, GLS — with tracking links filled in where we know the format. Add your own rates, free-shipping threshold and local carriers.
Checkout that feels local
The address form asks for the province, and phone numbers are checked against the +63 format.
