Your store is set up for South Korea
When you choose South Korea at sign-up, Omniterra sets your currency to KRW, your time zone to Asia/Seoul and your storefront language to Korean. Everything can be changed later.
Taxes
10% standard tax is preset, and prices include tax, as shoppers in South Korea expect. You can change the rate and the tax display at any time.
Payments
Card and wallet payments are the norm in South Korea, so cash on delivery is off by default. You can still turn it on, with fees, limits and fraud scoring, if your customers ask for it.
Card payments work through your own Stripe or PayPal account where they are available, with card fields, Apple Pay and Google Pay directly in your checkout. Bank transfer is built in, and there is no commission from us on any sale.
Shipping and couriers
Couriers commonly used in South Korea are ready in your admin — DHL Express, UPS, FedEx, DPD, GLS — with tracking links filled in where we know the format. Add your own rates, free-shipping threshold and local carriers.
Checkout that feels local
The address form skips the region field, which is not used for addresses here, and phone numbers are checked against the +82 format.
